4月23日，Official Trump（TRUMP）迷因币的网站宣布计划让特朗普在其华盛顿特区的高尔夫俱乐部为前220名TRUMP持有者举办独家晚宴。

The website subsequently released a leaderboard tracking the top TRUMP wallets and a link to register for the event. According to CoinMarketCap, since the announcement, the price of TRUMP tokens has increased by more than 50%.

The specific guest list is still unclear, but the meme coin’s website states that applicants must pass a background check, “cannot be from [Know Your Customer] watchlist countries,” and cannot bring any additional guests.
On April 25, the team behind TRUMP denied rumors on social media that TRUMP holders needed at least $300,000 to attend the upcoming dinner with the president.
“People have been misquoting block explorer #220 as a cutoff point. This is wrong because it includes locked tokens, exchanges, market makers and people who are not participating. Instead, you should just look at the leaderboard,” they wrote.
Legal experts told Cointelegraph that Trump’s cryptocurrency ventures, including the TRUMP meme coin and the Trump-affiliated decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol World Liberty Financial, raise significant concerns about potential conflicts of interest.
“Just days after taking office, he has already signed several executive orders that will greatly affect how our crypto and digital asset industry operates,” Rikka Law Firm’s Charlyn Ho told Cointelegraph in February.”
